On the date of November 12, 2008, the desulfurizing thionizer was successfully hoisted and installed in Tiandong Thermal Power Plant. The Desulfurizing Project was set up for 2×135MW power generation units. Ammonia method was adopted for this project. One thionizer shall be utilized for both boilers. The flue gas being desulfurized and cleaned can be released through chimney directly. The diameters of thionizer and chimney are 14m and 5m respectively with total height of 95. Horizontal overhaul ladder and vertical ladder were designed at side of it.
