Guilin to Wuzhou Super Highway is one of the 8 provincial highways under the western development program of the state government. Zhongshan to Majiang section has a length of 60.05km, total occupation area 6548mu. The highway is designed as 4 lanes for driving speed 80-100km/h. The highway features bituminous concrete surface on the base of 24-26m width. Zhongshan to Majiang section is constructed as BOT by Guanxi Water & Electric Power Construction Group Co. Ltd. The operation period is 29 years. The project commenced in December, 2004, and will be completed in December, 2007.
